Day 1
Paris

Highlights:

You're right in the center of Paris. Grab a flute of champagne and join your travel companions in a grand celebratory toast to your fabulous week of wine tasting and fine dining. You'll love dinner tonight, it's at one of our favorite Parisian Bistrots.

Day 2
Burgundy - Chablis & Beaune

Highlights:         

Want to taste some of the best Chardonnays in the world? There are four different classifications of Chablis: Grand Cru, Premier Cru, Chablis, and Petit Chablis, and today you'll taste them all. Thanks to the unique soils and climate in Chablis, the chardonnay grape expresses incredible power and mineral quality here. Enjoy a warm welcome from our friends at Domaine Chatelain, then continue tasting and comparing different great Chablis over lunch. The 12th century Abbaye de Fontenay is one of the oldest abbeys in Europe, and you'll enjoy a private guided tour of it on the way to your 4-star accommodation in Beaune. This evening you'll be treated to an exceptional dinner at a local favorite in Beaune.

Day 3
Burgundy - Côte de Beaune

Highlights:         

Today you are in the vineyards of Pommard, Volnay, Puligny-Montrachet, Auxey-Duresses, Monthélie… Your first tasting is as a welcome guest of Patrick Javillier, tasting his elegant wines at his domain in Meursault. Then you're off to Santenay for a visit with Gérard Fagnoni of Château Philippe le Hardi. This chateau was the residence of Philippe le Hardi, the last Duke of Burgundy. At the time, the Duke of Burgundy was more powerful than the king of France. Later, you are in the stunning courtyard of the beautiful 15th century Hospices de Beaune. Built in 1453, this historic hospital owns some of the most coveted vineyards in Burgundy. Every November it's home to the world’s most famous wine auction. We'll suggest local favorite restaurants for your free evening in Beaune.

Day 4
Burgundy - Côte de Nuits

Highlights:         

Explore the Côtes de Nuits, north of Beaune today. Discover the famous terroir and vineyards of Romanée Conti, Romanée St. Vivant, and La Tache. Later this morning, visit Château du Clos de Vougeot and enjoy a guided tasting of Clos Vougeot nearby. This afternoon you are back to the vineyards tasting wines in Nuits-St-Georges and Gevrey-Chambertin. Dinner together this evening is at an elegant Michelin-starred restaurant.

Day 5
Champagne - Reims

Highlights:         

A scenic drive takes you to a castle tour and fantastic lunch at the illustrious Château Bligny. After lunch, we'll stop at a top small producer in Champagne's Côte des Blancs. Our comfortable hotel is ideally located near all the main sites in Reims, including a host of excellent restaurants for dinner on your own this evening.

Day 6
Champagne - La Route des Grands Crus du Champagne

Highlights:         

Today you will visit a couple of Champagne's most impressive Maisons, and Reims' astonishingly beautiful cathedral. You will soon master the complexities of champagne production and decipher any wine list with ease. The cathedral in Reims is one of Europe ’s most stunning, and it's where the kings of France were crowned for hundreds of years. Today’s wine tasting visits include Pommery in Reims and Moët et Chandon in Epernay. The champagne keeps flowing at tonight's dinner at an exceptional Michelin-starred restaurant in Reims.

Day 7
Au Revoir
